How do I register an Assumed Business Name?

You must determine if the name you wish to use is available. To determine if the name you wish to use is available (i.e. not being used by another business), you may conduct a search using the County Clerk’s website, or one of the members of our staff who are located in Suite B103, of the Paul Elizondo Tower, may conduct a search for you. You must submit the appropriate notarized form to the County Clerk’s office. You can submit the form in person or through the mail.
