4/6/2018 - Celebration of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

San Antonio, Texas, April 6, 2018: Over
thirty agencies have joined together to plan events for National Crime Victims’Rights week which will be celebrated from April 8 – 14, 2018.  This year's theme, "Expand the Circle
– Reach All Victims”
reflects avision to build partnerships between criminal justice and victim service
professionals in order to expand the opportunity for victims to disclose theirvictimization, get connected to services, and receive the support they need.

A calendar of events for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week has
been attached to this email.  Eventsinclude a County Proclamation; Victims’ Tribute and Wreath Laying Ceremony;
special childrens’ events; and many other meaningful events.  Please check the attached events calendar forspecific dates and times.

Help us instill values within our
community where rights and services for victims and survivors of crime are notjust observed annually, but practiced daily.
