D-Day Document Day for Veterans

The Bexar County Military and Veterans Services Center will host D-Day Document Day for veterans who would like to begin the process of filing for their Veterans Administration disability claims. Veterans will be able to file their records on the spot to facilitate processing.
The Bexar County Military and Veterans Services Center will host D-Day Document Day on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This event is for veterans who would like to begin the process of filing for their Veterans Administration disability claims.
Veterans will be able to file their records on the spot to facilitate processing.
Veterans should bring the following documents to start the process:
- DD214 or equivalent
- List of service-connected disabilities
- Dates and locations of medical treatments received
- Medical records (if available)
All documents will be scanned in and originals will be returned along with follow up instructions for all veterans attending the event.
County Clerk Lucy Adame-Clark and the award winning “Records on the Run” mobile satellite office will be on hand to assist Veterans with registering their DD-214 for safeguarding and with filing other paperwork including wills.
To minimize the risk of COVID-19, all veterans will be required to wear a mask and remain in their vehicles during this visit.
