Meet Constable Kathryn Brown

Constable Kathryn BrownGreetings,

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the voters of Precinct Four for electing me to the position of constable in our community. I am honored and humbled that you have placed your trust in me to carryout the mission of the office.

Before winning the election, I achieved 18 years of service with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. I attained the rank of Sergeant and during that time, I was actively engaged in community relations where I occupied various positions. I served on the Honor Guard, Mounted Patrol and had a variety positions with groups relative to law enforcement, advisory, curriculum and union committees.

I am the proud mother of two adult sons that I love dearly. They keep me inspired, motivated and were supportive in my decision to seek office. I am also blessed to be a survivor of Ovarian and Breast Cancer. My medical struggles and journey enabled me to embrace my internal strength, modesty, and humanitarian nature. Having two stints with cancer has also allowed me to advocate for cancer awareness and support community engagement projects.

As your newly elected Constable, I am in this position in no small measure due to the uncompromising moral and ethical principles that I still adhere to today. There will be times that my office is going to be challenged; we are going to find ourselves in very difficult situations, yet I vow to never ever compromise our integrity. We will remember to do our very best, work hard, and consistently maintain our honesty.

Life is full of many challenges and the world we live in is far from perfect. But I have the utmost faith in my deputies, my staff and myself to always represent with integrity. Please trust that it will always be my intent to make our community safer and that we will be shining examples of professionalism. The community can always depend on us and I know that my deputies will make us all proud. I will always give my best, work hard and demonstrate integrity in all that I do.

Excitement at best described my thought process regarding the possibility of serving the citizens of my community. God has granted me this mission; it’s a privilege and honor to represent as your current Bexar County Precinct 4 Constable.

Kind Regards,
Constable Kathryn Brown #1401
