With identity theft on the rise, The Bexar County District Attorney would like to share the following information about identity theft and how to prevent it.

Family Justice Center (FJC)
The Bexar County Family Justice Center is a unique organization that provides the services and resources necessary to assist victims of domestic violence and their families in one, centralized location.

Conviction Integrity Unit
The Bexar County District Attorney established the Conviction Integrity Unit (CIU) as an independent section of the District Attorney’s Office. The CIU will investigate claims of actual innocence or wrongful convictions by convicted defendants who have already been through their trial and appeal processes.

Check Section
The Check Division of the District Attorney's Office is responsible for investigating and prosecuting the offense of “Theft by check.” It is one of the divisions at the District Attorney's Office that is able to take reports of criminal conduct directly from the victim of the crime.

The Bexar County Criminal District Attorney is committed to protecting the elderly and vigorously prosecuting those who would perpetrate scams and harm to our senior citizens.
