Open Records Requests

Official Public Records Search

Before requesting a record, please note that you can search our free online database for land records, notice of foreclosures, public notices, liens, assumed names, vital records, marriage licenses, Commissioners Court minutes and more. You may view documents and print uncertified copies from your own computer.

Open Records Request Portal

Bexar County has an open records portal that allows requestors to submit a request online and check on the status of the request. Users may create an account, which is needed to track and receive information related to the request. Additionally, the public can access past requests and may find that the information they are seeking is already available.
