Henze Road Low Water Crossing

Scope

The purpose of this project is to improve three existing low water crossings on Henze Road in South Bexar County to meet a proposed conditions (PC) 25-yr storm event. To meet criteria we propose improving the existing northern-most low water crossing on Henze Road with a multi-box culvert with parallel wing walls upstream and downstream. The two southern-most culverts on Henze Road, which are currently metal pipe culverts, will be replaced with concrete culverts. The proposed improvements of the cross-drain structures will require approximately 150 LF of subsidiary roadway reconstruction at each location on Henze Road. The proposed work should not impact utilities in the surrounding area.
