All domestic dogs and cats are required to have up to date rabies vaccinations.
If your animal does not have a current rabies vaccination, it is a $500 fine.
All dogs must be leashed when off property. Dogs are not allowed to roam without restraint.
If your animal is loose, it is a class C misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500.
It is unlawful to conduct roadside sales.
It is unlawful to conceal, sell, giveaway, or otherwise dispose of an animal that has bitten or scratched another animal or human until the Local Rabies Control Authority (LRCA) has released it.
If an animal has bitten, scratched, or broken the skin of a human, it must be quarantined for ten (10) days after the incident to check for rabies.
