The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office Toxicology Laboratory offers a six (6) week internship for graduate students (Doctorate or Masters level) interested in the field of forensic toxicology.
The internship provides “hands-on” experience in a toxicology service laboratory. Students will learn the day-to-day operation of the laboratory to include procedures, instrumentation, chain of custody, and laboratory safety.
The internship program is offered to graduate students who are enrolled at a university whose degree program requires an internship for graduation. Any university graduate student interested in obtaining information about the internship program should contact their academic adviser or a faculty member at their school.
