The BCDRC Team has resumed scheduling mediations! We have developed procedures to enable residents to mediate from the safety of their homes by video using Zoom, or by telephone. Our Team is committed to assisting all residents in resolving their conflicts through this convenient process. Please do not hesitate to contact us at 210-335-2128 if you have any questions.
Eviction Assistance (Tenants & Landlords) In addition to our mediation services Bexar County and The City of San Antonio offer and have available rental assistance for landlords and tenants.
Mediation is a structured process in which an impartial person, the mediator, facilitates communication between the parties to promote reconciliation, settlement, or an understanding between them. If the parties reach a mutually acceptable understanding, the mediator guides them in developing a written agreement. Mediation sessions are scheduled at the convenience of the parties involved and generally occur within 2-3 weeks from the time the BCDRC receives a complete mediation request. Mediation is not a substitute for legal advice or representation.
Need a speaker for your next meeting? We can send a team member to make a presentation about our services or set up a display at a school, resource fair, church wellness event, or neighborhood meeting.
