THE BEXAR COUNTY ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT is responsible for voter registration activities and election operations throughout Bexar County.  This includes 712 voting precincts in Bexar County, 53 political subdivisions, 20 Independent School Districts, 29 Cities, 4 Military Installations (Lackland AFB, Ft. Sam Houston, Brooks City-Base, and Randolph AFB) and over 959,439 registered voters.

Voter ID Information

As a result of the passing of Senate Bill 14, voters are now required to present an approved form of photo identification in order to vote in all Texas Elections. Visit VoteTexas.Gov for more information.
