THE BEXAR COUNTY ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT is responsible for voter registration activities and election operations throughout Bexar County.  That includes 622 voting precincts in Bexar County, 52 political subdivisions, 20 Independent School Districts, 28 Cities, 4 Military Installations (Lackland AFB, Ft. Sam Houston, Brooks City-Base and Randolph AFB) and approximately 890,000 registered voters.

NOTICE:

The State of Texas, has delayed the mailing of 2012 voter registration certification certificates due to State of Texas ongoing litigation regarding state redistricting plans.

Your previous voter registration certificate printed on blue paper expired on Dec 31, 2011. Renewal certificates printed on yellow paper will be mailed to all registered voters once the state redistricting plans are finalized by the federal courts. Voters can expect to receive their new certificate before the 2012 Primary Elections. The new yellow certificates will be valid through Dec 31, 2013.

NOTICIA:

El estado de Texas ha demorado el envío de los 2012 certificados de renovación de registro de votantes debido a una discusión del estado de Texas en relación con los planes estatales de redistribución de distritos.

 Su previo certificado de registro de votante imprimido en papel azul se venció el 31 de diciembre 2011. Certificados de renovación imprimidos en papel amarillo serán enviados a todos los votantes registrados al momento en que los planes de redistribución del Estado estén finalizados por los tribunales federales. Los votantes recibirán su nuevo certificado antes de las elecciones primarias del 2012. Los nuevos certificados amarillos serán válidos hasta el 31 de diciembre 2013.
