THE BEXAR COUNTY ELECTIONS DEPARTMENT is responsible for voter registration activities and election operations throughout Bexar County.  This includes 712 voting precincts in Bexar County, 53 political subdivisions, 20 Independent School Districts, 29 Cities, 4 Military Installations (Lackland AFB, Ft. Sam Houston, Brooks City-Base, and Randolph AFB) and over 924,633 registered voters.

Voter ID Information

As a result of the passing of Senate Bill 14, voters are now required to present an approved form of photo identification in order to vote in all Texas Elections. Visit VoteTexas.Gov for more information.

Please be aware that all Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar Certificate of Appointments expire on December 31, 2014 and will need to be renewed after January 1st, if you would like to continue registering people to vote.
